Elyria Comic Book Initiative

11/9/09 -- ECBI is designed to promote literacy through comic books. Phase two of the program engages students in an after school setting where they can utilize the elements of story telling to tell their own stories. I am very happy to announce the ECBI has just reached a significant milestone.

County Chamber Holiday Reception on December 3 at DeLuca's

11/3/09 -- The Annual Lorain County Chamber Holiday Reception will again this year be held at DeLuca's Place in the Park on Thursday, December 3 from 4 - 7 p.m. This is the kick off of the holiday season and we are looking for another well attended event. Port Works Levy Committee Presents Oktoberfest 2009

10/15/09 -- Help support Issue 31 at Oktoberfest 2009. Enjoy authentic Germain Cuisine with meats from Fligners Supermarket and prepared by Chubby's Family BBQ. Big Bill's DJ service will provide you with an evening of German Hofbrau music.
