1/20/12 -- Leadership Lorain County is offering the Paid Summer Internship Program for 2012 (provided through a grant from The Nord Family Foundation and the Community Foundation of Lorain County) for College Students interested in Full and Part Time PAID 2012 Summer Internships in Lorain County (must be a Lorain County resident). Safety Council Semi Annual Report are Due

1/1/12 -- Happy New Year and fill out your Semi Annual Reports. They are due by January 17, 2012. Please contact Tony at agallo@loraincountychamber.com if you have any questions about the report. Remember you need to fill out the reports if you are participating in the rebate/discount program from the BWC. You also need to fill them out if you want to be eligible for Safety Awards in April. STEIN HOSPICE 2ND ANNUAL ISLAND DAYS

12/15/11 -- Stein Hospice brings the Lake Erie Islands to downtown Sandusky the first weekend in January with lots of your favorite island music, food and drink. Festivities begin Friday night with a concert by Alex Bevan and end Sunday afternoon with a performance by Mike “Mad Dog” Adams. In between, you can enjoy island fare at the Sandusky State Theatre.

11/1/11 -- The 2nd Annual Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. On November 26, 2011 we're asking millions of Americans to shop small at their favorite local stores, shops and restaurants to help fuel the economy. When we all shop small, it will be huge.
