7/17/14 -- Mark your calendars as 2 businesses in Lorain announce ribbon cuttings. First up is Sprenger Health Care as they cut the ribbon on their new addition at Anchor Lodge on West Erie Avenue this coming Thursday, July 24 from 4 -7 p.m. Ribbon cutting at 5:30. Second is the new Gen Fed Credit Union making their new Oberlin Avenue (next to Rebman Rec) offices official with a ribbon cutting on August 14 at 11:00 a.m. Hope to see you all there! Congrats to both County Chamber members as they invest in Lorain County!

6/19/14 -- Just to remind all those who signed up to attend the Jet Express Adventure V scheduled for tonight - Thursday, June 19th: This event is a RAIN or SHINE event. We have been in contact with the Jet Express and we are confident that the weather will be nice this evening. The temperature may be much cooler, so please pack a sweater or jacket. If the wind or lake chop is bad, we will stay on the Black River and within the break wall area of Lake Erie. We hope for a nice sunset!
