1/1/12 -- Happy New Year and fill out your Semi Annual Reports. They are due by January 17, 2012. Please contact Tony at agallo@loraincountychamber.com if you have any questions about the report. Remember you need to fill out the reports if you are participating in the rebate/discount program from the BWC. You also need to fill them out if you want to be eligible for Safety Awards in April. 4/11/11 -- The Lorain County Safety Council is proud to welcome Dave Roll, Safety Consultant with the BWC, back to teach the OSHA 10 and 30 hour classes at the County Admin Building. (10 hour May 19 & 20; 30 hour starts with those 2 days and goes additionally on May 24, 25 & 26). Cost for Chamber members is $79 for the 10 hour and $149 for the 30 hour. 3/16/11 -- The Lorain County Safety Council held it's monthly meeting on March 16 with over 100 people in attendance to hear Ann Gynn from the Business Emergency Planning Institute. The topic was Business Continuity Planning and how to be prepared for disasters and work disruptions, both big and small.
